Mama raised a warrior, She taught me how to fight. Not with others, but for myself. To stand up for what is right. Mama taught me not to sit back And let others do me wrong, She raised me to be resilient, She told me to be strong. She held my hand so lovingly, She wiped away my tears She guided me through my life, She loved me all these years. Mama raised a warrior, Helped me more than she would've known. But most importantly, mama taught me That I'd never be alone.

I miss my happy little girl I miss who she used to be. I miss her laugh, I miss her smile, I miss her energy. Those innocent blue eyes Shone so bright without a care. She'd talk so big about her dreams, That are now no longer there. I wish I could take her back To the age of four or five. She was silly then, and funny, And just so happy to be alive.
